Ever since the MP server thing hit, my game has not been saving any of the "Don't Show This Message" check-boxes or my MP password -- even though I ask it to "remember" it.

Hardly the end of the world, but it is an inconvenience.

Any suggestions?

Been there, seen it, still seeing it!

Like you said, not the end of the world, but it is frustrating!

I hope it gets fixed sometime (reasonably) soon.

Have you ever re-installed FOG?

Nope, I've not done that.... and I'm going to be very reluctant to do so. My reasoning is thus;
1) I did exactly that with Medieval II Total War to fix a minior bug and it failed to reinstall - I'm sure something in the uninstall routine was missed, or some thing got corrupted. The bottom line is that I now can no longer play the game.... which is good news for you since it was one of the reasons I bought FoG (that and the face that the AI just didn't challenge me).
2) I love FoG and wouldn't want to risk not being able to play. The AI in FoG isn't great either, but the big difference is that PBEM means I get challenged by real people!
