After the Romans have nearly completed the reconquest of Italy the Goths murder their king and then elect another, Totila. Belisarius has been recalled to the East and with no one in overall command in Italy the resurgent Goths confront a Roman force more than twice their size at Faenza. Totila launches a charge against the Roman front while a small force that circled the enemy camp attacks from the rear. The Romans are defeated and driven from the field in disorder.

Thanks for these two latest late Roman battles. Its fun mixing it up with mostly purely cavalry armies!
