I suspect that any striking army that is any good probably already has its devotees, (colourful, unusual, capable; pick any two).

Having said that my suggestions would be Muslim Indian Sultanates, one of the Italian hoplite armies from Lost Scrolls or a non-Aztec Central American army.

Cheers for the suggestions, looking at central america but cant seem to find any models other than mayan (which i dint like the models) or aztecs.

As useful as it would be to have 4 Inspired commanders, the lists only allow one.

Lidian (I love King Croesus' history), early Carthaginian, Kyrenean greek (greeks+heavy chariots) and Saitic egiptian (greek+Hch+egyptians)

Not under-represented, but sufficiently colorful and fun to warrant your investigation: Achaemenid Persian

I would use the central american figures avaliable to go for something not Aztecs (other states looked similar but less likely to be used)

how about mixtec, tlaxcalan or canari

for the canari i did work out you could do a pretty good list

Ic, 2 x tc, 4 x 6 lf slingers (poor, unprt, undrilled) 3 x 8 MF Ptd, undll ave Off spear, 2 x 10 mf Ptd undl Ave Off Spear, and 4 x 8 MF ptd undld Sup Off spear

interesting, probably not that many people using it, and better chance of survivng a cavalry attack than the Aztecs.

just a shame you can't get them armoured

Not to sure I have only seen one EAP used last year and that was at brit con by a MAWs player, how i dislike that army everything shoots at you nasty people if your Cavalry.
