Just a quick question:
Is the winning side the first side to get the final break point eg 32/32
Or is it the side that scores the most break points after the final round has finished
Rome score 32/32 (first)
Gaul score 27/25 (after last turn ends)
The victory summary pop-up for the game does not say which side won!

Its the position at the end of the turn - so if they both have reached level or higher break points its a draw (regardless of who got there first or who has the better winning score). Thats why the summary didn't mention a winner. Although I would like it changed to announce the draw as it does when a game runs out of time.
However I have just had an interesting game end which doesn't match this. There when my turn ended the enemy were on 27/28 break points, but when the system moved routing units at the conclusion it caused more fragmentation and routs - resulting in the enemy break points changing to 30/28. Instead of the game ending then - my opponent was allowed a further turn before losing on 33/28.

Hi guys
I'll post the scenario details when I get home and check but I had an odd one this morning.
I had confirmation of a game ending by e-mail and went to check. The screen showed I was awarded the victory but my opponent was still 2 points away from breaking and we still had not completed the number of turns for the scenario.

I've also had a game where at the end of the turn both sides were past their limit but I lost.

Did your opponent resign?
I have had that happen with an opponent two points away from the break total and the result was posted as 'draw'.
My army was 33 points away from the break total.

The last patch corrected this for resignations - at least it has done for those that have happened to me. Although the resignation still prompts an initial draw box when it moves onto the victory summary a win is announced along with the usual triumphal music.
