Campanian army list permits to field multiple units of 2x4 HF protected drilled impact foot/sW + 2 HF prot drilled OS.
This way it's possible to field 20/24 drilled BGs, with the possibility to flank enemy BGs.
Could be worth try to field such an army, or is without hope?

Ciao Andrea,
you are going to play with the usual big army
Unfortunately I don't have Lost Scrolls

Its major weakness would be against shooting.

Plus it is made up of Shock troops and I don't think Swarm Theory works so well with them - add that to Protected and you may have a problem.
The army would end up similar to the Sertorian Spanish I faced last year at Campaign. I used a 13 (IIRC) BG Pontic against it and we drew 10:10 - I can't recall much about the game as I was still pissed from the night before, however, Paul Cummins might be able to say how he found the Sertorians in action.

Useful comments Nik.

So you reckon Parthians then? Scuds of cheap, uncatchable bow LH, with an IC to fight on a
billiard table, and a few cats to mop-up the mess?

and what about in melee?
Maybe shooting could not be a problem, with a rear support and a IC...

Anything with lots of LH bow and some armoured cav lancers, they're cheaper than cats

Sounds like Skythians
Being serious, as Phil says, LH shooting is a problem (an IC only covers 1/3 of the table). Lancers can pick where to attack.
Another problem would be Romans. Legionaries are superior on impact, and on ++ in melee - it doesn't matter how
much rear support you have, you won't win that.

............ A little translation for your American viewers; Does "pissed" mean drunk/hung-over or angry? Or both?
Another Lost American Soul (or is that Scroll?)

I would translate Niks state as "still drunk from the night before" which is not that uncommon a situation for many GB gamers on the Sunday morning of a tournament.
Managing that state for the first game on a Saturday is less common but interresting when it happens
