They used to fit on my screen. Now I have to scroll across. Is Slitherine an IT company????

Fine on mine, although there's a minimum width, I guess 900 or 1000 pixels. And thankfully they got rid of
that horrible flash menu that appeared for a few days. But the forum software is the popular open-source phpBB,
so overall layout comes from that.

I think the design on the main page is much better now. Still too much flash though. (E tavoli per la schema, dai!! :D )

But are you using Internet Explorer? Corner of the class if it's version 6... :)

Peter, you do not realise how lazy I am. Upgrading means effort on my part.

If you are using version 6, seriously, upgrade. It's crap and a security risk.

Better still, get a good browser, like Firefox, Opera or Chrome.

The width has been reduced to a minimum of 938 pixels now. Try it again and see if it works ok. It's a balance between new & old displays trying to make it look good for everyone!

Iain, thank you. Obviously a games company trying to be an IT company can work. Or are you an IT company trying to be a games company?

Peter, why should I care about security on a works computer? If the world has to do without washing up liquid for a few days I'm sure they'll change my browser for me.

Perhaps security (or rendering speed) is not a consideration for you if it's a work machine, but you should realize IE6 is crap, seriously outdated and losing market share quickly. So more and more websites are breaking free of the constraints IE6 puts on webdesign and drop IE6 support. Accordingly you should not wonder (or complain) if a site does no longer work correctly for you anymore while using IE6, chances are the website is working or looking better for everyone with an up to date browser for it.

Of course it seems to be the latest version our internal IT group can be bothered to support! (And we are an IT company.)

You know the mantra..."if it's not completely broken, why fix it?"

Well, while XP is going to be supported by M$ till 2014, support for XP using SP2 ends in July IIRC. Since SP3 automatically installed IE7 (might be different for the corporate versions though) they might be forced to rethink that soon enough.
