Hi

Title says it all really.

For me it will be the German Med. City Leagues - Why ?

1. I don't have any armies later than 1066 AD
2. The company I work for has an office in Esslingen

Anyone else ?

I am tempted by Samnite because I have some early Italian infantry I used in a Phyric army and I can use them as a base to expand from.

Here comes my 44 bases of protected Lancer camels, blow the dust off been waiting a long time to get the Tuareg out just cause people hate them as much as the Dom Roms. Who does'nt like Camels then?

well i'm hampered by a news years resolution not to start new armies until i've finished the ones i've got, however i can morph my late medevials into german city states pretty easily, so they are the army i'm most likely to use (i can probably justify enough halberdiers for 8 medium foot :D )

My new army is coming from E of the D, so none of the above. I have the figures to run the Med Germ City Leagues, though, and will probably out that on the table sometime this year.

Early Republican Romans. Not sure which ally to use though.

benos, I know that feeling well !

I have Syracusan to finish this month, then I will start on the Germans

david53 I confess i looked there as well - but I would be starting from scratch. I also looked hard at the Early Nomad - the Camel variant. Something tells me all those camels would look very intimidating !

Actually, I've already got Iron Age Zamuans (Zagros Highlanders) so I was a bit disappointed to find the list in Lost Scrolls is for Bronze Age ones...

Iron Age Zamuans don't seem to have made the cut to the final core lists.

Surprising as iron gives a sharper edge.

Although it would be more correct (not to mention looking more stylish) if you 'justified' enough 2-handed swordsmen for 8 MF. :)

Germans. Just have to shuffle things around a bit.
My next totally from scratch army is going to be Grand Moravian. Then I'll have to do East Frankish allies, the start of the next army (Carolingians), and Magyar allies, yet another army.

Having succumbed to Mike from Museum's blandishments 2 years ago at Claymore and bought enough of his very nice Camel Lancers for a DBMM army, I have once again gone to the Museum well for enough more to field a veritable horde of Taureg!

Fun awaits!

Etruscans; I did a module on them at uni 2 years back and I've been itching to do one ever since.
