SSw Vs Heavy Wpn

I'm expect this has been covered.
What would be the melee (none impact) factors of SSw v Hvy Wpn?
With the plus for Hvy Wpn v SSw not counting, does the Hvy Wpn still cancel armour poa?
Canceling Armour POA is in effect "make their armour same as me"?
Cheers

Hi Nigel
Heavy Weapon will cancel the enemy armour POA but the Heavy Weapon will get a POA if better armoured than the enemy.
Therefore HW with better armour Vs SSw will be even POA's.
HW with same armour will be +POA to the SSw.

your opponent does not get an armour POA but that does not cancel it totally. If they are armoured and you are protected they don't get the armour POA but that does not mean you get it either, they still had better armour just don't count the POA for it.

In short, SSW denies the HW PoA, but it doesn't stop the HW negating better armour.

Definitely not. If you've got better armour than your opponent and you have a heavy weapon, you still get the POA for better armour.
It would be like this:
Protected Skilled Swordsmen Legionaries vs Armoured Heavy Weapon Medieval Danes
POA = +0
Armoured Skilled Swordsmen Legionaries vs Armoured Heavy Weapon Medieval Danes
POA = Advantage Legions/Disadvantage Danes
Armoured Skilled Swordsmen Legionaries vs Unprotected Heavy Weapon Irish
POA = Advantage Legions/Disadvantage Irish.
So, you can see that the armour doesn't change anything except if the armour benefits the weilder of the Heavy Weapon.
