Baecula problem

Having just downloaded the new stuff, I accepted a challenge to game Baecula. (Actually, I accepted the game, then did the download a few minutes later.)

When I try to play my first move, it simply refuses, and drops me back at my game window. After shutting down the program, I saw a window with a message that had been obscured. It noted that file i0000004752.fogsg was invalid. What should I do to fix things?

The Baecula game you accepted a challenge for was not part of the new game pack. It was a different user created game. I have deleted it from the system. Keith

But, here is a followup question.

If two people have the same custom game, and it is properly installed, can they use multiplayer mode to play it?

Possibly but it may cause issues so please dont report any problems is user scenarios hacked for multiplayer :)

We are working on a system that will allow you to play even if only the designer has the scenario but it wont be available until Rise of Rome releases.

I am starting to see people listing challenges for custom games.

Given that a) you can only accept the challenge if you have the game too, and b) Slitherine doesn't want to hear any complaints, how are they accomplishing this feat/ I do not see any way to issue challenges for any games beyond the formally published set. Do they have pre-release Rise of Romes? (which I did sign up for.

Good grief! Have you reported its loss to the police?
