I think he means that the rankings don't show mp games, and that's what people assume they should show (it's what I thought at first).

wait... what? What else would the rankings be based on; surely not single player games (how would that be reported?). I simply figured that it was slow to update.

I read somewhere on the forums that it was in fact on single player games. Like you, I just assumed it counted unfinished games as 'won' and was slow to update. But no...

If that's the case... I suppose I can't really think of any reason to keep the ranking system. I don't care to remember how many times I've whaled on the AI; multiplayer is where this game really shines. Especially when it involves watching Paisley's pin-cushion pikemen plod Porus-wards.

The rankings are based on single player as we don't have a system yet to deal with the asynchronous multiplayer results reporting. It will come it's not as easy as it sounds though :)

Well, when you get a ranking system, just tack me on the bottom. This will save you the trouble of doing the analysis! Heh heh.

It is all automatic - every game you play is registered and you are already in the rankings :)

I asumed it was ranking MP games..

Has development started or is there room for some feedback on what it will look like?

Ranking is the key to maintaining interest here I believe or at least one of them.

It has started but feel free to suggest things. Can't promise they will be done though :)

Would it be possible to have rankings done by a percentage of game wins to games played, rather than just the volume of game wins?

We can add new fields - we just need to work out what they should be. To be honest we've so many changes planned the current system should be considered as a tech demo rather than a reflection on the final version.
