Thoughts on the following list please.

Levy....................2x6 LF upu jv ls -
Mountain Tribes....2x8 & 1x6 MF pau - if sw
Cavalry...............3x4 Cv psu - la sw
Camels...............6x4 Cm psu - la sw
Gens TC x4

Theory being the LF in one rank shield the Cm and the Cv provide support. MF take bad terrain. 14 bg +2 pbi.

Don't get all psu'd off, but pau means "finished" in Hawaiian. At least get them an IC.

With 9 groups of undrilled lancers I might be tempted to cash one in and by an IC. Or go down the IC and 2 TCs route instead. An IC would be very handy here for complex moves, or stopping suicidal charges.

And the fact that protected Camels/Cavals will get shot up badly

I shall have to dive into the garage to find my long unused DBM Tuaregs, does Lost Scrolls give any guidelines as to how to base the camel mounted troops, IIRC DBM allowed foot and camel figures mixed on a 30mm deep base.
