I own Legion. Like the game very much. What is the difference between Legion and Legion Gold? Is it worth it to buy the new version?

My advise would be to go for Spartan/GoT

Do not know about the difference between legion and gold though. got gold myself

Afaik, Legion Gold adds some maps (Germany). At the current price, i don't think it's worth to buy Legion Gold if you already have Legion.

As said, you should rather look at Sparta/Got (best game to date imho from Slitherine) or Chariots of War.

If you really want a newer game similar to Legion, you may check Strength & Honour 2 by Magitech...you can take over the world with Rome.

It adds more campaigns and units but overall I would recommend a new game rather than Legion Gold if you have Legion. Chariots of War is like Legion but with more & larger maps, more units and lots of cool features. Spartan & Gates of Troy take the engine further and even have Romans in them too
