Legion Arena - Linux query

Just a quick question (I guess the answer is no, but....)
I recently purchased Legion Arena (revival). Does it run natively , or can it be made to run under Wine, on a Linux PC?
It seemed to install OK, the choice menu (play game etc) appears, the intro movie plays but then it crashes.
Can it, or should it, run in Linux either directly or under Wine?
Thanks.

We have never tried to run the game under Wine. There is a native version for Linux.
In theory it should be pretty vanilla if you can run any other DirectX games.

OK thanks for that, I'll play around a bit and see.
To be honest, I've not had much luck getting any game to run under Wine. I've managed things like PaintShopPro and the MS PPViewer etc. They seem to run fine, but no games - yet.
I was just wondering if anyone had had any success, esp as it appeared to start to run the menu option screens and the video's etc.
Thanks anyway.
EDIT - I misread your post originally and just noticed this later "There is a native version for Linux.". Where is it available from? Is it on the same DVD?

Sorry! I must have mistyped (that or Iain went in to edit my post just to make me look foolish

)
There isn't a native Linux version. Sorry to get your hopes up!
Cheers

OK, thanks for the reply.

EDIT - In case any Linux folk are interested, it appears in my case to be a video card driver problem.
Its an old PC, using the GF 7186 'nvidia' drivers. When running with these the start menu appears, the start video plays then the game crashes.
If I change to the open-source 'nv' drivers, then the start video plays and what looks like the game main starting screen appears. However (guess) as these drivers are apparently non-3D accelerated, it runs so slowly as to be not usable.
Still investigating. Back to Windows for this game maybe??
