This little mod allows you to play with ancient ships as possible supports for ground units.

The galleys use the place of indian elefants, with special parameters, and their ranged weapon is bow

I haven't tried it out yet, but I wanted to congratulate you on putting boats in to the game! Very heartening to see a mod that improves the game!

It would be very nice this mod to be incorporated, after it has been refined,in later patches of game by the SLITHERINE!!!

Thanks

I think it would be great too (with Slitherine ship icons, because mine is extracted from an other game). In some ancient battles, ancient ships intervened (cf : Actium battle, etc.)

In other considerations : it would be great if Slitherine, one day, would offer to us a naval battle game like "Field of Glory ("Sea of Glory" ?) with a "naval rule" :P

We dont have any naval rules in the tabletop game so we'd have to think through how this would work. Not saying it wont happen but it needs some though and testing to make sure it doesn't unbalance the game so is some way off.

If you do decide to include it, you would be opening up a tonne of new battle scenarios- the Peloponnesian War involved a fair number of naval/land combination battles (including the very last major battle).
