Here is a scenario based on the supposed (and very unlikely, considering current sources) annihilation of the IX Hispana somewhere in the wilds of Pictland. I have changed the unit scales so that the Romans have ten cohorts, I to X and 120 cavalrymen. Cohort I is a double-cohort of 800 men so, as FoG does not differentiate between numbers of men, I have made this cohort elite, to increase its punch. Cohorts II to X are each 480 men and of differing quality based on the Roman 'grading' cohorts.

If you want to kill Romans, play the Picts. If you want a challenge, play the Romans. I have only won one from four, and that was 11/12 to 32/31. As ever, any feedback is appreciated.

It is very weird... mine has stopped working too for some reason. I will post in the tech support forum to see if it is a known issue. Oddly enough, it still opens just fine in the editor...

Hi Maximus,
There was a problem with the name of the folder compared to the name of the scenario... when I first put it together, I forgot that the Latin name was 'Hispana' not 'Hispania' so changed the filename. That kinda broke it
Glad you liked the scenario though.

Keyth

Every time I go to the link you use to download a scenario, I get an "Oops. This link appears to be broken" message. Do you have to register and log in to use this download site?

Another nice scenario to play getting away from the batllefield lines of many battles of the era
