Hello, sorry for the inconvenience and thanks for the help, I installed commander gold version and then the expansion GS 1.02 from scratch and I get the following error:

Exception in thread "main" java.lang.ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException: Array index
out of range: 321
at java.util.Vector.get(Unknown Source)
at game.Messages.getMessage(Messages.java:96)
at game.Global.getMessage(Global.java:687)
at CEAW.main(CEAW.java:153)

gold version works correctly but I gives me this error expansion.

Thanks for your help.

To see if it's a language file issue would you mind trying to run in English? You can reset your language by first deleting the settings.txt file located in *\My Documents\CEAW Grand Strategy

Then restart, select the language (i.e., English) and see if the error resolves. If it does then it tells us that we may have an issue with Spanish version of the message_eng.txt file (i.e., message_spa.txt (I think)). I that's the problem then we should be able to make a fix to that file and get you back playing the expansion in Spanish.

Hello, I uninstalled 1.02 GS Expansion Spanish and I have installed the English version and works perfectly in this language.

Although I do not mind playing in English I wish I could do it in Spanish.

Thanks for everything.

PD: Thanks for this wonderful game, now just be wanting the Pacific campaign and then it would be the best turn-based strategy game.

Thanks. This helps a lot and narrows the issue down the one text file. We'll check into fixing it and then post an update of that file that hopefully fixes the problem and lets you switch back to Spanish.

I looked at the message_spa.txt file and it had lost all line shifts. I had to tweak the file a bit to let it save in Notepad normally. Please send Ronnie or me a PM with your email address. Then we can send the correct file to you. We will add this file in the next patch.

Draft Spanish language file update: http://rapidshare.com/files/339936967/message_spa.zip

To apply the draft update, download the file, unzip it and copy it over the message_spa.txt located in *\Commander - Europe At War\Grand Strategy Mod\data

petescan,

If you have the time please try out and let's know if it fixes the problem.

You're welcome! Glad it works! This was a team effort; i.e., Borger, Paul, Tim, Alec, Jim and myself.
