Having finally some breathing space from that Ranking thing (ignoring the clamouring for inclusion of doubles for a few days) I'm finally trying to finish the two German lists.
One thing I've come across is that the German Princes had a certain tendency not to use (or at least place hem well into the rear ranks for the MAA) troops that are badly motivated or equipped, but send just these troops if required to supply men for allies (or the imperial army).
That raises the question if it is ok to include troops in the ally list that are not found in the main list?

Can't see why not if there is a reason such as the one you've mentioned. Best include some sort of note in the list to explain it.
