CT: More than 1 reason to test

Does this modifier in the cohesion test apply if there is more than one instance of a single reason to test, e.g. 2 generals die within 3 MU in the same phase, or does it apply only if more than one line of reasons to test applies, e.g. a BG routs within 3 MU and a general dies within 3 MU in the same phase. I thought this had been answered previously in this forum and that it was the latter, but have no good way to find that thread now with search disabled. Thanks.

If 2 or more things happen that on their own would cause a test that is more than 1 reason to test. So 2 routers is more than 1 reason, etc.

Look at the full sequence of play on P168
The more than one reason to test applies if by the time a BG has to take a test there have been more than one event that would have triggered that test.
In the melee phase for example:
* Resolve melee
* Resolve post melee cohesion tests
* After the above is completed for all combats resolve cohesion tests for seeing friends break or commanders lost.
* Make rout moves
* Roll to inflict commander losses on routers
* Resolve CT for seeing commanders lost
If a BG breaks in the melee and a commander is lost as either of these would trigger a CT then a BG in range of both effects would be penalised in its test for more than one reason to test.

Yes
(But not to tests for being shot at when both 1HP3B and 2 hits from artillery apply)
