hi,

i get the follwowing error-message in 4 of my actual multiplayer challenges "Sorry, the file 'i0000003424fogsg' does not seem to be valid." The challenges are all from the same player (like_the_fish) an i try to make my first move in all of these 4 challenges.

the scenarios are
  • Zama 202 AC
    Sentinum 295BC
    Ruspina 46AC(Mini-Carrhae)
    The Rhine 58BC
I've only accepted the challenges, none of the scenarios are mine.
my installed game version is 1.0.3, no additional installations.

This has been mentioned in a few other places but this is because you do not have the scenarios installed on your PC that he has set up challenges for.

What your opponent has done is a bit naughty as we do not support these scenarios so he has modified the games files to allow this and is causing a lot of tech support issues for us :( We will add a system to support user scenarios but until we can validate them and test they work we wanted to hold back to avoid exactly this sort of problem.

If you are going to modify your game files bear in mind it will probably break multiplayer! If in doubt - ask us and we'll tell you!

You could download the scenario and play it - you just need to find out which one it is. It does nto require you to make any changes - just to have the user scenario he challenged you in. You only need to modify your files to create the challenge, not to accept it. We need to add a way for you to close games you don't want to continue but it's a little tricky.

Look in the scenario design forum - it is really case by case. These are created by other players and nothing to do with us :)

You could try and pm your opponent through the forum to find it.
