Hello,
Does anyone know of any tournaments going on in New York City?

I don't know of anything in the city itself, but there is an 800 point tournament scheduled to take place at Pointcon, up in West Point, later this spring. That might be in striking distance for you. I intend on traveling there from Connecticut to compete.

Here's a link to the convention site:
http://www.pointcon.org/
I don't think that the tournament information is there yet, and Danny Weitz has announced in the tournament section of this forum that there will be an 800 point open tournament.

Oh...I forgot to mention.
I don't know if Danny has announced this or not, but in addition to being 800 points, I am pretty sure that Pointcon will be a 15mm scale tournament.

Do you know if there's any chance of 25mm?

I seriously doubt it.
For there to be a 25mm tournament at Pointcon, there would need to be a viable amount of people expressing interest in playing in that scale. I, for one, have several 25mm armies left over from my Warrior days, but I think that the overwhelming number of FoG players are 15mm only. I played Danny at Historicon using 25mm, but there were only 6 of us in the 25mm and probably 30 or so in 15mm. To be honest, I felt a bit left out from the major focus of the event not playing in 15mm. In the future, I'll probably stick to 15mm, unless I know that there are a significant number of players committed to a 25mm event.
Of course, you can check with Danny and see what his feeling are. He is a 25mm player, and if he knew there was enough interest...
