I have made a little mod that gives to the game a better "Ancient look" (in my opinion), with alternate units bases and new Ancient sounds (used sounds of the very old GBA).

Precision : I did a little mistake creating the sound file named move_elephan : I forgotten the final "t", and then, the file does not work

Before to use the mod, you have to rename the file "move-elephan" as "move-elephant"

I pulled out my old copy of Great Battles Caesar. Working on some of the cohort files to import to this game to see if I can create a little more graphic density. I'd like it to look like the troops in the maps in some of my war gameing books.

I like the look of the square bases, is it easy enough to mod them to make them solid colours, or perhaps solid black? Do you think the units would show up better that way?

Its an easy mod to alter. I tried the whole color .... ack! I prefer this mods cackground so far

Does this work if you have "Rise of Rome" installed?

This mod looks great, but I can't seem to download it. I tried installing the 4share software, but no good. Is it a dead link? Is there somewhere else I can download?


The bases are about the only thing I didn't care for and this mod seems to cure that.
