Software malfunctioning...plz help

I have a quite serious problem showing up when i click on the map that is displayed on the right bottom side when i play......the message reoprts:
Unhandled Exception

PLEASE TELL ME WHAT SHOULD I DO

Can you please cut and paste the contents of the error.log file (found in you Documents directory inside the GBM subfolder) immediately after you experience this crash.
Also, can you post your system specs and give details of the mission (does it only happen on a specific one?).

this error appeared when i was playing the mission: picardy-raid the border villages......
basically it happened when i right clicked on the cavalry to attack an enemy unit which was far away so used the map....i clicked on the map and right clicked on the enemy to order the attack....when i clicked again on the map to go back to my units the software crashed.....
here r also my system specs since u wanted to know them...
processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) Duo CPU T9550 @ 2.66GHz 2.67GHz
RAM: 4,00 GB
Operative System: Windows Vista Home Premium 64 bit, (with service pack 2)

Thanks for the log, but I need the error log from immediately after a crash occurs. The one you posted appears to have finished cleanly.

yes i know...it thought it would have been useful in any case....anyway it showed up only when playing that mission....now everything is fine...it's a really great game....if u want to i can replay that mission just to check that error out...well thanks anyway...i'll let u know

Are you updated to the latest patch, firstly?
Second, can you please give us some idea of what happened when the game crashed. What were you doing, the mission, etc. Also your systems specs.

u have all the information u need in the previous replie....anyways yes i did update the software to the newest patch..
the first time it crashed i was playing the mission "raid Picardy" then today when i played the battle that follows that one of Crecy....i can't remember exactly which one it was.....
the software crashed when i used the minimap in the right bottom corner to move across the battlefield.....it happened when i gave repeatedly some commands to my squads through the minimap
i have a sony vaio VGN-FW3 with the following specs:
processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) Duo CPU T9550 @ 2.66GHz 2.67GHz
RAM: 4,00 GB
Operative System: Windows Vista Home Premium 64 bit, (with service pack 2)
i hope this may be helpful
P.S. fortunately it doesn't crash all the time
