"Firenk" knights?

Hi all,

I'm wondering whether the heavy armored knights in the Seljuk Turk list (Firenk, Armenian or Greek)
have any kind of horse protection. I think they came a bit later somehing like 1200+BC, which is
slightly late for a Seljuk Turk list.
Just trying to see which miniature to use for those guys...

Firenk is turkish transliteration for "Frank", so would be your typical crusader knight. These troops are available 1150+, so would look like either "Frankish" knights, Byzantine cavalry, or Armenians of that period.

I use 'arabised' Crusaders to give them a bit of flavour.

Thanks guys. I noticed a picture of a cloth horse protection few years before 1200 in one of the Ian Heath books
(can't remember which one though...).
So mail armor for the rider and cloth for the horses should do.
