I am playing the Germans in the GS expansion under 1.12 and I captured Moscow in July 43. But when the computer did its move, after some sea moves then land moves, when it came back to the sea moves the game froze when one of my subs was attacked (probably by a carrier, because there are no nearby ships), before the game acknowledged that I had taken Moscow. The cursor can still move around, but the screen is frozen. I can still alt-tab out and stop the game from the bottom bar. I reloaded the autosave game, the but the same happened even after a reboot. Then after reloading the autosave I manually saved the game, but whether from the save game or the autosave, the game always freezes at the same spot when my sub is attacked and takes damage.

The game should not be ended because I have not taken London, altho0ugh I have taken Stalingrad and North Africa and I am moving into Persia from the North and the south, and Finland has fallen to the Russians (the idiots went after Finland with a dozen corps and a half dozen air forces while I was going after Stalingrad...

This is my first crash with this scenario.

OK, after I reloaded a saved game from a few moves before, the game did not freeze any more. I played until a few months after the date of the crash without problems, so I guess it was just a glitch.

oops- the same thing happened just now on the Sep 20 43 move (the previous issue was on the Jujl2 43 move) when the game froze during the AI move during the attack on one of my ground units near Leningrad. The attack flashes and the damage flash stays on. Music goes on and cursor can move, but I have to alt-tab out and kill the game. I have a saved game I saved just before I ended the move.
