Son of Some Scenarios

I have the impression that every message gets one and only one response, so here is a clever trick to try to get a second one.

In an earlier post, I noted that when I try to play some of the more complex scenarios the application crashes. Note, this happens SOME of the time in both mulitplayer and solo modes. The effect seems time of day related. Sometimes I can get to the games in bunches, some times it crashes the first time I try. :?

Keven asked about my system. This is what I said.

Model: Dell Latitude D630
OS: Windows XP
CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo CPU
RAM: 1.99 GB
Vidio Card: ??
Video RAM: ??

I am not quite sure how to get to the video card stuff. I have an Intel Graphics Media Accelerator Driver for Mobile. It appears to have 384MB of memory.

I'm confused about what you're saying about a trick? I do not understand the thread title at all!

You have the latest version 1.02 and you still get crashes?

Can you try and be clear exactly what the problem is. I assume you mean Keith not Keven?

The trick is starting a new topic in order to get a response from Slitherine/Hexwar. Seems to have worked  .

I see - but you can see from the forum that each thread has multiple replies from us so I dont get the point.

If you have not had a reply, please post in the orginal thread.

This just confuses everyone and wastes time.

Sometimes we miss messages as there are thousands and only a few of us so feel free to remind us if an issues is outstanding in the same thread!

Consider this thead dropped. Sorry for the confusion.

The trick was opening a new thread, and actually, though I agree it is a bit disreputable, it has seemed to work. Still, I agree this is abuse of your attention.

But the point was you were asked for system specs in the other thread and had not replied with them so there was nothing for the team to say until you had posted them so the ball was in your court.
