A couple of more questions. What is Fog.net and why does it run whenever I finish a scenario? And I came across the term"Complex Movement" while reading the manual. I couldn't find out what exactly is complex movement? Also, but probably not last, what is a Starter Army? I think that I have Army Builder down, but I'm not sure about Starter Army?

Starter army is a term from the FOG mini army list book. The starter armies are sample armies of 600 points (TT version) that is ready made for first time players so it is easier for them to get a miniatures army together and a game started. In the PC version it is more like the try this game first teaching armies/games so you can get a handle on how the game works.

Complex move is from the FOG mini rules, some moves are simple, go straight, wheel others are classed as complex, turn 90 degrees and move off, expand or contract. In the mini game you must pass a cohesion test to perform a complex move, in the PC game you might find your attempts to move off at 90 degrees to your current facing costs you hexes or if undrilled you just can't do it, like trying to change facing after a move. Hope that helps. IF you try a drilled army and an undrilled army you will find the drilled troops can move about faster and can change facing after they move.

Thanks for the info. And what about Fog.net and why does it run after completing a scenario?

Perhaps fog.net is connecting to slitherine's servers to upload your score to the ranking system?

I don't know about that. It drives my Trend Micro program nuts! I end up getting locked up and having to re-boot. I wonder if there is a way to disable this?

I am pretty sure that the fognet.exe (which is what I assume you mean?) is used to upload results when you are done your turn. I am not sure why an AV would have an issue with it (other than it accessing the internet?) - running sub apps is pretty common in a lot of situations.

Perhaps there is some way you can tell Trend that you know about the app and not to worry about it?

Cheers

That's what I ended up doing? Generally it asks for permission for the program to run. That's when Trend Micro and FOG didn't get along! I set it up to allow to run without asking....
