Here are three scenarios using starter armies (I have sent them to Keith as well).

Feedback would be appreciated.

The battles are:

I've played the Pontic/Bosporan game - really enjoyed it though Mithridates would not have been happy. Great game, thanks.

I did a battle report for your scenario with the Iberians fighting the Carthaginians. I really enjoyed the battle - It was a whole lot of fun!

The Iberians likewise surge forward eager to repel the vile invaders from their beloved land!

Little do they know, the Carthaginians march on into certain doom! ( I hope)

The Iberians continue to maneuver pushing their heavy infantry towards their left flank to counter the enemy cavalry while pushing their own cavalry up the right flank. The Scutari are starting to form their battle line. I will have to rely on one massive charge with their impact foot abilities to stand a good chance against the enemies heavy infantry. I am hoping that I can break the flanks and collapse onto the center of the enemy battle line. (Best laid plans of mice and men) :D

Oops - forgot to do an image for this one.

The Carthaginians continue to advance and move aggressively with their cavalry.

I am attempting to surround /confuse/misdirect/stall the enemy cavalry on my left flank using my light horse and skirmishers. I used my cavalry to scatter the light horse on my right flank. I am continuing to maneuver my infantry into the positions I had laid out above. Managed to get a shot and the Elephants.

Tactic seems to be working against the Carthaginian cavalry, but the Carthaginian main battle line is shifting to meet my Celt-Iberian Heavy Infantry.

Continuing with my strategy. I sure hope it is going to work. :D

The Carthaginian Cavalry are pretty much static - my plan on that side seems to be working and the main battle line with the elephant unit also seems to be waiting. Some units advance against me on my right side.

My Iberian Infantry continue to maneuver with some of my Scutari charging the Carthaginian left. My cavalry continue to scatter the light horse, and my skirmishers continue to harass the enemy cavalry and elephants.

The Carthaginians advance, except for its cavalry. One of the Greek Mercenary units route.

I held my heavy infantry in reserve and threw my medium infantry into the fray and are moving up the second battle line of medium infantry to support the first wave. My cavalry continues to chase the light horse around, and my skirmishers continue to surround the enemy cavalry.

Continuing my strategy. The heavy infantry are being held in reserve, the medium infantry are attacking in strength against the Carthaginians left, my cavalry is chasing light horse, and my light horse, and skirmishers and pelting the enemy cavalry holding them at bay.
