Overall feal - combat

At this stage I find it much more difficult to work out what the odds of winning/loosing a particular combat result are:

some shooting first
impact
melee
hit test
cohesion test etc.

I think many wargames like to work out the chances of winning/loosing a situaton before choosing to seak or avoid it. Many may not like the fact that this appears much harder to do now, although not sure how experience/games will overcome this

The POA system means you can predict accurately whether you'll be at and advatange at impact or melee, but one of the skills of generalship is being able to judge how all the complex factors feed in to the model and predict the likely outcome. We're trying to get you feel of the issues a real general woudl have to deal with.

I think with a few games under your belt you'll be much more confident and I'm sure you'll usknow if you're not :)
