I can open it in the editor but loading it to play I obtain the same error "Sorry the file.. doesn't seem to be valid."

I have noticed that if I copy a previous scenario and change its name (just by changing the folder name), it won't load as a new battle.

The solution I have found is to edit (with notepad) the scenario0.fogsg and scenario1.fogsg files and write the new scenario name in the "gn" field.

Hope it helps! :)

I wonder if it a compatability issue with Matrix and Slitherine versions? (just a wild guess)

I renamed folder, "gn" fields of files scenario0.fogsg and scenario1.fogsg and the "game title" field of the file game-fixed.xml as "Zama 202 BC" and it finally works!

Or you can simply rename the scenario folder to ZAMA (I'm lazy and like less typing) and it works fine

Yes it works!
