Does anyone recall the link to the old fan website for The Great Battles Series PC games? (searched on the web for over an hour and couldnt find....)
Since there were over 80 custom battles for this game it would be a great resource to port over some of them to this game....

That was a good series of games.
I tried to re-install them last year, but they don't seem to run today's machines (I'm assuming it's the OS that's causing the problem, I'm on XP).
Anyone else got any ideas?

Follow the link to the above fanbased website kindly posted by Kilroy, there is a section on how to get the games running on XP and I think even Vista.
At least your have your copy, still trying to find mine...

I played all of them too!
But there were a lot bugs and the AI was weak!
As I saw FoG, this game came to my memory!

I just checked it out today. Although the scenarios are still listed there when I attempted to download a scenario file an error message indicated that the file is no longer there. Tried it will several different ones and no luck.

I have all the scenarios from wargamer's site, as well as most of the ones from Ian's site.

Cothyso has also got them working on newer PC running windows 7 I believe - I now just need to convince my son that my old crappy PC is better than his and then he will swop it back with me!
