When I attempt to run the gbm_v1.0.exe file, all I get is a MS-DOS window which quickly closes. I've downloaded the program twice, each time the file size is 1.17 GB (1,267,315,386 bytes), (on disk: 1.17 GB (1,267,318,784 bytes)) when the downloader says 100%. Is this the correct file size?

Running XP Home, SP3 on Intel Pentium 4, 3.6 Ghz, 2 GB RAM, NVIDIA Geforce 7950 GT 512 MB, 40 GB free HD space.

Sorry you are having problems. It sounds like some sort of virus checker issues preventing you from running the game. Can you check this is not the problem?

Got it working.

Apparently the both the download manager program and the installation program were corrupted (twice for the install program) in some manner by the CA Security Suite on the system I initially used, as I had the same problem on a different computer which has Norton on it when attempting to use those files. When I started from scratch on the Norton equipped system, I did not have any problem installing the game (other than Norton fighting me every step of the way, thinking your software was extremely malicious).
