Dates Old Style, it means period one will be from Pre-Dynastic Egypt to 24th December 800 AD if exclusive boundaries, 25th December 800 AD if inclusive. period two will be 25th December 800 AD to 31st December 1500 AD, or the feast of the passover 1500 AD if using western Christian dating.

Yes Carlo Magno its the Italian name of Charlemagne (First Holy Roman Emperor), he was crowned by the Pope in Rome during the midnight mass the 24th december 800.

Dear Tim, if you are able to find an army whose option change from 24 to 25 december 800 You are allowded to field it in both polls ;)

Ciao :)

Only in Italian at the moment:

I'm hassling for the English version :) As you are coming from outside Italy, I'm sure the guys from Faenza will book hotels for you, yes Matteo? (I believe Matteo is going to Athens too, so you can always talk about it there).

The Saturday night social dinner will be in this place about 10km away, the town having something of a reputation for it's very good restaurants:

The current estimate is 10-12 teams... so the more the better! Would be nice to see some other national teams as well... :)

Hi,
yes.

Each team will have 3 players:
- 1 for ancient period
- 1 for medieval period
- 1 open (all the books).

If I'm not wrong at the moment the estimation is to have 13 teams (included 1 for Uk and 1 for Greece) :D

The city and the venue are lovely and the food is great
