Routing Commanders

I just noticed something funny about routing commanders - they still provide a command radius for your troops until they route far enough away. Just sort of thought that a little odd. "Hold at all costs - while I run away!"

I noticed as well. It seems like a command unit that is routing should instantly lose it's ability to command.

Something for the next patch I guess.

Its a compromise to the TT game. On the TT commanders never run beyond teh initial rout move if with a battlegroup that routs! In the PC they do run but are assumed to always be trying to rally until they exit the battlefield. Keith

Please don't understand me wrong!

My first impression is really great, but a question according the theme above!

There were commanders who ran away like Darius!!

I mean, there should a morale also for the commanders!

I agree they ran away in real life, then again did Darius run or was it just time to leave, but in FOG TT on which FOG PC is based commanders never rout. If a generals bodyguard routs in the PC game the general will rout with it and stay with it. He gets to try to rally his troops as he routs. As he is routing he rarely gets the big benefits of being adjacent to a unit to rally it. Keith

only a thought...
