German Oil Levels???

Could some of the 'pros' out there give me ideas as to where German oil levels are at certain points in the game (vanilla version)(any different for BJR?)?
Fall of France?
Spring '41?
Spring '42?
Despite best attampts, I seem to be unable to horde the stuff...I conquer France, toss fighters at the Brits for a turn or two, and find myself sitting below 300 oil.
