Editing Units Questions

When one right clicks a unit in the editor one can edit various unit stats, including the range value of the missle weapon.

I noticed that all the units seem to default to "0"

Question: When I make a scenario do I need to enter the apropriate range for every unit that has a missle weapon, or are the values hardcoded ie bows range "4" etc, if hardcoded can they be overridden in this field ??

**also I notice several non era weapons like longbows, firearms .... Are these placeholders or will they actually be used in game if say, iI create a corp of musket peltasts? :D

I am not sure about the default range. But you can use the weapons not used in official scenarios.

I indeed created a Firearms shooting Knights unit :)

Do bear in mind though that there are no different graphics (yet) for the Firearms shots.

Hmm Knight unit (in the rules I see quite a few references to knights abilities)
Did the Knight unit you created actually function differently when you played the scenario you made?
I ask because I was trying to change the class of cataphracts to knights in the editer, and while it allows you to do so, afterwords the unit doesnt display "knight" as the units class (in the display below the map) I never bothered to actually load up the edited scenario i was goofing around with , just assumed it wouldnt work...(I definelty think Slitherine should change how one launches edited games... Having to manualy move files from mydocs into the main game folder is a little archaic)

All you need to do is select "custom game" from the screen you choose the scenario you want to play! No need to copy files etc!
