Hi
The v1.01 version is said to have corrected the problem with the animation speed slide reversing to the minimum speed each time you start a new game, but the bug is still there, at least for me.

Sorry you still have problems. Can you post exactly what happens and your specs and OS.

I start the game, go to preferences and set animation speed slide to medium. Close the game, restart, and go to preferences, it is set at the lowest speed. The problem is that everytime I start the game i have to reset the animation speed, not big issue anyway, except that low speed animation causes multiplayer to freeze, so that I have to take care not to forget resetting speed everytime before I play multiplayer

Are you logged into Windows with Administrator privileges?

Using Vista or Windows 7?

Yeap this problem still I have it too. My OS is Windows XP and yes I have administrative rights for the user which I'm using to play the game. But I don't see, I mean logicaly, any link between administrative rights and animation speed setting.

Cheers

The connection is (or would be) to being able to save the settings to a file/registry entry. Limited users can't save files to some areas of the disk or registry.

But that doesn't seem to be the case here.

What virus checkers are you both running?

Cheers

Struggling to replicate here as we have a belt and braces defence in all animations in 101 that if it is set too low it goes to the medium setting. Anything anyone can tell us about their PC configuration would help here as we try to replicate. Keith
