resolution and deleting scenarios

Fantastic game; I'm having far too much fun to complain.

two quick questions:

1. How do I change the resolution, so things are bigger? Does the game just play at native resolution?

2. How do I delete custom scenarios, or send them to other people? I can't figure out where the game locates them.

3. Can I make new units and add them in?

Again, the game is great. It runs beautifully on my system. Two thumbs up! Now back to playing...

Glad you like the game:

1. How do I change the resolution, so things are bigger? Does the game just play at native resolution?
>>> The + and - to the lower right zooms in and out. As part of an update we are looking at more zoom settings and maybe via the mouse scroll wheel.

2. How do I delete custom scenarios, or send them to other people? I can't figure out where the game locates them.
>>> See My Documents (or documents, depends on your windows version) /Slitherine/Field of Glory Scenarios

3. Can I make new units and add them in?
>>> Not possible at the moment. There are 14 images in total for every unit in the game and 12 have to be very carefully lined up to rotate correctly. THat said you can edit an units value in the editor with right mouse on a unit to change its values and shift + right mouse for a generals values.

Again, the game is great. It runs beautifully on my system. Two thumbs up! Now back to playing...

Yep, I got that downpat, but I was wondering if it was possible to change the resolution of the game. Does the game run at the native, desktop resolution? I usually play games at 1024x768 or so, but I have my desktop at 1920x1080. The game actually looks nice in whatever resolution it is, so it's not actually a problem at all, but I was just curious.

Ahhhhh; thanks for that. I went in to "my documents," but I stopped searching the directory listing when I saw "FieldofGlory." I didn't open "Slitherine," because I thought it just belonged to some other Slitherine title I had. "My Documents>FieldsofGlory" contains a launcher file, nothing else.

No worries; I just want to do some battles from Classical Greece, so I've got my fingers crossed that you lot'll release that expansion pack first. :D

I would use the 1920 x 1080 resolution. We develop on all but I prefer playing on the highest possible. The game zoom buttons are scaled to show the best 3 possible views on a monitor.

Not sure whether the question of whether we can change the screen resolution was answered?

Cheers

I just did a test, and it looks like the game defaults to the desktop resolution. 1920x1080 is too much for me to play the game at on this laptop; I get a good view of the field, but the figures are tiny, so I can't see all the detail. How do I change the game to, say, 1360x768, without having to set my desktop that way? The game looks perfect at that resolution on this screen.

Right now, I'm just altering my desktop resolution and then switching it back when I quit, but I know that's going to get annoying. :?

We'll have to see what we can do about resolutions, as currently there is no facility for changing the res.

My netbook's desktop resolution is 1024x600. Will this work with Field of Glory?

EDIT: Nm, found that it does on the product page....

Screen Resolution 1024 x 600
