Cohesion test(s) ?

Just to get it completely clear, even for me:

The situation is as follows: My three units A (with a commander) B (without a commander) and C (without a commander) is fighting three enemy units (D, E F) in three separate combats:

AAA____BBB___CCC
DDD____EEE___FFF

The distance between AD and BE are less than 3MU, and likewise for distance between BE and CF.

1. question: In the melee phase C is broken, and the commander in unit A is killed. B wins its combat round. B then have to take a Cohesion test (CT) at a -1 ?
(test because of broken unit, -1 because of killed commander).

2. question: In the melee phase C is broken, the commander in unit A is killed and unit A is broken. B then have to take a CT at a -2 ?
(test because of broken unit B, -1 because of killed commander, -1 because of broken unit A)

-1 for More than one reason to test applies if there are 2 or more causes so that you only test once for the different events.

Yes, but can you get the "-1 for more than one reason" twice, so you take one test at -2, if there are three reasons to test ?

No, if there are 3 causes at the same time it's just -1. Also, the order in which tests are taken can be important since fragmented testers may break, adding another cause to factor in to any further tests (but is not retroactive to the broken/commander loss tests you just took).

It is -1 it there is more than one reason, not -1 per additional reason.

To be honest -1 is bad enough.
