This army, especially the Don version, looks like it will be swarmtastic.

Not sure what can legitimately be done about that.

One possibility would be to give the LH a melee capability (swordsmen?) - it won't allow them to stand up to heavier mounted, but it will make them cost more, so there will be less of them.

If we decide to do this, will will need to rate any Cossacks in the Wars of Religion lists accordingly.
