Where to go?? LF up against...

A BG of MF spears was moving in column, parallel across the front of a camp. A BG of LF was evading back towards the MF at 90 degrees to them (so, straight back into the side of the column).

If the LF evade takes them just a bit into the MF column, but there is nowhere to go with the additional +2MU (because of the camp up against battlefield edge), where do they go?

Can they just stop short?
They can't just sit on top of the MF.
Do they burst into MF somehow?
Destroyed?

destroyed as they cant finish their interpenetration. (however neighbors dont have to test seeing this happen.

If there was room for them to fit through the MF but not enter the camp they go through the MF and then once they hit the camp woudl turn 90 degrees and finish thier move running along the camp edge. But is sounds as if there was no room for this

Where does it say that? It is an interpenetraion not a burst through or a rout?

See page page 67 - penultimate bullet point. And you need to refer to Page 48.

I'm guessing this is the same issue as the post from deadtorious?

Best advice - be more careful next time.

An easy mistake to make - and one I made myself just this weekend.

I allowed an enemy BG to evade off table through its camp - rather than making it turn 90 degrees and keep it on table. Live and learn!
