I have stated taking pics of all of the armies I ahve including all of the extra nits required for FoG. Can anyone suggest a simple site for hosting what is really a straight forward picture gallery icluding writeups. Id need to be able to reisize and crop images too so if this was built in functionality that would be great.

I am sure Tim has seen your post and been too modest to suggest adding your piccies to his, So on his behalf I would suggest looking at his place :-
http://www.madaxeman.com/index.php
and adding whatever you need to do to that.
You would have to do your own sizing and write-ups but TBH for me that is easy and I have only this weekend started to add my badly painted and awfully photographed stuff to his place.
To be fair it has so much content that I am sure you would be happy to have it there.
You can do your re-sizing and other tune ups by using a freebie like Windows live photo gallery as I do. Get it here :-

Hi
I use a Wiki. I Find it easy to use. For picture editing I just use the Windows paint program and Picassa from Google.
This is my one;

It's painting and taking the pics on my knackered old camera that takes the time.

I use Google Sites for all of my battle reports. Piece of cake to use. I post the actual photos to Picasa (Google's photo hosting site). I then link the photos to my wargaming site.
