Hi
Has anyone tried this, and does it simulate the tabletop rules. It could be useful for playing out games against armies I haven't got to see how things go, but only if it is a rules simulator.
Thanks
Will

Nobody who has it is allowed to comment as it is still in Beta :)

It is not a direct rules simulator but a lot of aspects are shared. Some thign s the PC can do well the tabletop can't do and vice versa so a direct conversion would have been clumsy and unplayable. E.g. all teh POAs are teh same but movement is on a hex grid which changes the micromanagement.

Can the PC handle the Impact Phase sequence of play?

Phases is one of the things that really didnt work on PC. We had it ono but it was very frustrating to have to do each phase, many of which had no actions, but you need the players input to confirm there are no actions. On the tabletop you skim through these autmoatically without thinking as you know you dont need to check but on PC this became very tedious so we changed it early on. Instead you can do any of the actions at any time and the correct combat formulas, evades moves etc are automatically calcualted by the code and used.
