Which bg would people go for of the following 2 choices...
6 x Cv pro Sup und - la sw or 4 x Cv arm sup und - la sw ?

all other things unknown ... 4 armoured cav
In fact I cant imagine many cases where Id ever take 6 superior cav

Especially undrilled, since they are harder to maneuver.

I think that one key question is whether they are likely to face any shooting.

But the protected are more likely to face a test and less likely to fail it.

Both units would be superior, I am looking at a Rajput ally for the Ghaznavid list I have been tinkering with. I think I can get 2 Ghilman & 2 Rajput (armoured ) in the army, but would have 6 ally units, a bit excessive for one ally-general to control.

Fours.
More manouverability.
Cost less, & gives you more BGs (if the list allows)
