I recently ordered Spartan from Slitherine. After downloading, I went to play it, but a window titled 'Key expired' popped up. When I click on Customer support, it says I am missing one or more tags. Below customer support is a thing saying I need to add a access key and name. I have recieved no e-mail notification of this access key. I have already sent a pm to ian on this forum, as well as a e-mail to
info@slitherine.co.uk or whatever the e-mail address was. I have had no response, and am considering just getting a refund.
Please respond asap.

The best way to get problems dealt with is posting on the forum. We don't like PMs as a way of dealing as they are harder to track threads and prior posts.
I think Spartan uses the older Digital River protection, and I am guessing that some firewall or other security measure prevented it from automatically authorising the game.
You don't say when you purchased the game, but I have no doubt that Iain will be able to deal with it on Monday when the office opens. It may be you need to supply some additional info, and we will let you know the email address to use. Note you should never post order information on the forums.
Cheers

Sorry you are having problems. The key is only required if you have installed on more than one machine so this is why it is asking you to contact us, as it is a single user license. You'll need to send an e-mail with your order details to
info@slitherine.co.uk and we'll sort it out, but bear in mind we are not online 24/7 or at weekends - tech support is one person
We don't use this copy protection on any games from teh last 2 years but Spartan is an old game so does not use serial numbers, which are simpler for everyone.

I've sent the e-mail. Just waiting for a reply.
Thanks in advance.

Just to be sure, you should make sure that any reply isn't being junked by any spam filters etc that might be attached to your email account.
Cheers

After the advice that Pip gave me, I went into my mail account and looked through my junk mail. No luck finding it in there :/
I checkd my firewall, and it's not causing the problem. (If it is, I can't tell.) So i'm just going to stick to manually inputting my access key.
