I downloaded the COW demo, and purchased the game tonight. After playing a few hours, I went to the website and downloaded the patch. On trying to install the patch, I got a message that COW was not installed on my computer. I believe this is due to the location I installed the game to (c:\games\Chariots of War). I think the patch does not know how to find the game if installed somewhere other than in the default directory. Is there a way to direct the update file to look in the current install directory?

IIRC the patches for COW would have been done individually by the publishers. One thing that I can think of might be that you are trying to use the wrong patch (e.g. for a different territory) and that might be why it cannot find the install.
