Sassanid Levy

I have an overwhelming compulsion to paint all of my Sassanid Levy's distinctive eggplant (aubergine)-shaped hat in a pale blue colour.
However when I look on the web I can't find any reference to this being right
Is this because I have some folk-memory of this being correct from a book or something - or is it just random madness?

I think you maybe getting confused with "Blue Meanies" led by a floating glove in Yellow submarine.

How about a rastafarian colour scheme?

I painted my Sassanid dome hats the same color. I think its because that Total War game has them that color.

Even if the general use of the round felt hat are not entirely correct, they did exist and would probably follow the Zoroastrian practice. In that so, the colours should range between light cream, off-white to white.
This caps are still represent today in Zoroastrian pictures of holy men.

Could be an idea for an 'interesting' general figure
