Hello forum. Just took a look at the latest mapshots, I like the hexes, graphics of the game. I like the positive attitude of Slitherine. They are providing straight forward information, this looks like a winner. I will be buying this game.

If you want a hex based turn based wargame, get Battles in Italy by SSG.
www.ssg.com.au
The game can be purchased by digital download or be ordered and delivered to your door.

Too good then that CEAW will be supported on both Mac and PC

, but you would need 512 Mb RAM and 1 GHz CPU at leist.

We're still working on the minimum spec so there may be a reduced graphical quality version for people with less RAM. Let's not set anything in stone yet!

Yes, I'm another Mac-ster that's also lurking. My G5 ought to be able to cope with the specs. I hope that was a mis-print about C:EaW being available by Xmas 2007. I'm sure they meant to say...Xmas, 2006!!! Right????

Any chance of a Linux version?? My 12 yr old son has just put Linux on an empty HD and I'm impressed with it so far.....

It is a Java based game so I think this means it will work without any changes from us - but I'm not techy enough to know for sure!
