hi all i have recenly started playing fog and have a few questions, if a battlegroup evades is it allowed to reform and turn around and face it's pursuers in the mf or does it end the bound with its rear to the enemy and then turn round in the next mf

Usually a BG evades in the opposing player's turn so it can reform but not turn.
There are (less usual) situations in which your BG evades in your turn in which case it can reform and move (which can be a turn but that may require a CMT for some troops) in that turn's movement phase.
That's my take on it anyway.

reading the rules it says it reforms into normal formation facing the direction previously faced by any of its bases,
the reason i ask is this, if i evade and reform and turn i can charge in my turn if i find i have now got an advantage but if i am not allowed to turn i cannot charge because impact phase comes before movemeant and you can only reach a target in front of you or you can reach by wheeling

During reformation you cannot turn.
Turning is made during your mouvement. So you cannot charge the BG that make you evade even by wheeling (cannot charge with a wheel > 90° ) and you cannot make a turn during a charge.

The way that I have played this is that turning around is a new move and not included in reforming, so you would not be able to turn around to face the former pursuers until the movement phase of your turn. Therefore you would not be eligible to charge them in your impact phase following the evade.

Also reforming only happens if a BG is involuntarily forced into an illegal formation. Such as split up or stepped forwards when bursting through. It is also done on the furthest forward base. At the end of an evade all will be facing the same direction. Then in the move phase they do not turn as in the previous phase they were already facing that way.
