Another one bites the bugs!
Version 1.5.9 - (November 2nd, 2026)
Full comprehensive Patch
Gameplay
Siege outcomes restored to their pre-2022 odds: surrenders and wall breaches had become far more frequent than intended.
Revolts no longer seize a region outright: the rebels hold the countryside, and now have to defeat your forces before taking the city.
A neighbouring nation can no longer declare war on you by leading a revolt in your lands: only a nation already at war with you can take the lead of a revolt.
Internal trade again yields half the value of the goods traded between your own regions.
Simple trade: a good again serves every region within trade range, even when the region producing it also uses it.
Fixed the decadence change from the "Citizenship status and state reforms" decision being applied a hundred times too strongly, both ways: with a good ruler, a nation could end up with a decadence of 1 whatever its size and top the CDR ranking; with a poor one, its decadence could soar. Existing saves are corrected on load.
The Disperse Slaves decision is no longer refused in regions holding more than 50 slaves, the very regions it is meant to relieve (cap raised to 99).
Buildings
Buildings development focus, Emporium option: once every Emporium is already available to your nation, the option still steers idle regions towards an Emporium they can build, instead of charging its cost for nothing.
Its description no longer mentions 15 Emporiums: 14 can be built.
The Workshops option now shows its own message instead of the walls one.
Diplomacy
Exchanging regions with your client states no longer carries the anti-exploit surcharges applied to other nations (your empire size, relations).
In peace deals, the AI no longer offers distant regions. A ceded region must now be already occupied by the receiver or border its territory, and regions along the shared border are preferred.
Interface
New option: Extra AI time (single player only). Gives the AI more time to search for solutions, for a minor improvement in its capabilities, at the cost of longer AI turns.
Ledger: the Regions (Population) tab is about three times faster to open and refresh, and the Regions (Overview) tab about a third faster, for large empires.
The interception banner shows the targeted army's name again.
Production building tooltip: added the missing line for a good used only in its own region.
Fixed missing map icons for 21 message types (such as a stranded army being relocated).
Fixed a "Format issue" on the hit recovery effect text (Borvo Shrine, Thermal Springs).
Other fixes
Saves from the 2021 versions (1.3.x): the calendar is restored on loading, so the status age and dated events work again.
