Unknown error connecting to multiplayer

I got an Unknown error trying to upload my first turn in the current FoG Medieval tournament a little while ago. Since then I'm getting the error connecting to multiplpayer despite doing a reboot.

I just got the same thing. Connection takes a while and then goes to the error msg

"Authentication failed" last night and continuing into today.

Same for me, starting from yesterday late night, and still happening today.
Just for information, in FOG2 (ancient) I don't have the same problem.

I'm getting the same! presumably it's a server problem... we'll have to sit tight and wait gentlemen

Happened on 22 October as well, but didn't last as long. Some sort of weekly server process that isn't working perhaps?

Now I have gotten the reminder e-mail telling me that if I don't play my turn I will lose points!

A good opportunity to reset the tourney to alternate week to Ancients?
